You can leave you personalized calling card,
Battle Banners, and all sorts of other image gifts
In other fighters guestbooks
To let them know you have popped in
It is a great way to show your spirit
Or just to say hello !!
The question has come up so many times asking me
How do you do that and what is the code
So to help you with this
I have made this page to explain how
Just follow the instructions
and before you know it you too will be leaving colourful
cards and gifts in guestbooks yourself
No1 Get Calling Card or other image
The very first thing you need to do is get a calling
card.
When you save it to your hard drive on your computer make
a note of the name of your card
You can change the name to what you want when you save it.
No2 Uplaod Image to site
Now you have saved your new calling card to your hard
drive and made a note of the name given to the graphic, it
is time to upload it to your website in exactly the same way
that you get any images on your homepage, you may use a server
like Homestead or Geocities that have their own managers to
upload your images to your directory for your homepage or
like a lot of us you may use FTP for the uploading of graphics
!!!
No3 Using the HTML code
So now you have your new calling card up on your web page
you will need the address of the card, this will be the URL
of the page you have uploaded your card too and the name of
your card which you took note of when you saved it to your
hard drive, you may be able to right click on the image and
go to properties here it will tell you that images address,
you will also need the HTML code that will allow you to place
your card or image into a guestbook which is placed in the
comments area of the guestbook that you are signing..
Here is one of the codes that I may use in a guestbook
I have highlighted in red the Avalon Adventure site URL so
when the image is clicked it will take you to that site, of
course you will use your own site URL in place of this one.
The blue highlight is the image address and name of the image,
this will let it know where the image is and what it is called
so it can be hypa linked.
Again you will replace this with your own image address

By using the code above you will see this image, just change
the site URL
and the image address with you
own, and that is all there is to it (o:
Now copy and paste this code into a text document like
notepad, somewhere were you can go to and get the code, here
you can add your website URL and image address to it and then
save the document, now when you go to a guestbook you can
find your code and copy and paste it into the comments area
of that guestbook.

same way as you would use the first code :
