A Day Of
Terror Felt By All!!
A day for nations far and wide, full
of sorrow, disbelief and anger.
Watching the events of this immense horrific tragedy unfold was
devastating, sickening and shocking to say the least, a free world
invaded by inhumane terrorists.
The devastation and chaos caused
has hit the democratic world hard, this international tragedy cannot
be ignored and the perpetrators of this heinous crime need to be
brought to justice.
Our Prime Minister Tony Blair is
also stunned and as he said at a press conference earlier today
"I fear that hundreds of the lives lost were British, so we
are involved in a very real and direct sense so the interests of
this country are engaged" We feel as close to this tragedy
as the citizens of the USA as it was an attack on our world, our
free and democratic world.
Currently Prime Minister Tony Blair
has stated that Britain will be standing shoulder to shoulder with
USA.
We are also on high alert across the country and all flights in
and out have been halted for the time being.
Prime Minister Tony Blair has recalled
parliament for an emergency meeting on Friday 15th September!!
OUR children, the children of the
democratic world, should not be experiencing, witnessing or be involved
in such disgusting terrorism, they should be able to grow without
this sadness and destruction.
They should be free to be happy and to be allowed to mature without
unnecessary threat, but this will never be possible while terrorists
who caused such a catastrophe are left to roam the Earth.
Our hearts go out to the victims
of this terrible tragedy and I hope we can unite in making a safer
and better future for our children.
God bless the
victims of terrorism and
God bless democracy !!
Special friends share the prayer
and graphic below and I am sure it will touch the hearts of everyone,
thankyou Lydia and Roland.
"A Fireman's Prayer"
"When I am called to duty, God,
Wherever flames may rage,
Give me strength to save a life
Whatever be its age.
Help me embrace a little child
Before it is too late,
Or save an older person from
The horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert
and hear the weakest shout,
And quickly and efficiently
To put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling and
To give the best in me,
To guard my every neighbor and
Protect his property.
And if according to my fate
I am to lose my life,
Please bless with your protecting hand
My children and my wife."
